     About Me

“Each human being is bred with a unique set of potentials that yearn

to be fulfilled as surely as the acorn yearns to

become the oak within it.” Aristotle

I believe in creating a safe and warm space for exploration and curiosity, not a place where you need to "get better" or make predetermined decisions. My goal is for you to leave feeling a sense of spaciousness and security within yourself.

My Approach: Unveiling Your Inner Strength

I believe in the power of secure relationships to foster well-being. That's why I utilize attachment theory to explore how your early experiences shape your present. We'll also work with Internal Family Systems (IFS) to understand different aspects of yourself, including those that might feel hurt or hidden ("exiles"). By acknowledging and integrating these parts, we can create a more compassionate and empowered inner world.

My approach is highly experiential and somatic. We'll not just talk about feelings; we'll embody them, learning to name and understand the sensations in your body. This "bottom-up" approach allows you to access the wisdom held within your body and move through the world with a deeper mind-body connection.

Why I Do This Work

In graduate school, I finally found words for what I knew all along: humans are fundamentally good and crave connection. We all thrive with security and safety, and we do the best we can with the resources we have. However as a society, we're often under-equipped to deal with big emotions.

Many of us weren't taught healthy ways to manage anger, jealousy, or other "selfish" feelings. If you find yourself struggling with these emotions, know that you're not alone. I am here to help.

I am a Certified Integrative Trauma Coach and

trained in mindfulness based stress reduction meditation (MBSR),

biodynamic breathwork, and somatic therapy.
